Caring For Your Jewellery

The Basics

Follow these simple steps to keep your Thirteen Popes jewellery in pristine condition.

To protect your jewellery, we recommend storing each piece individually, as contact with other items may cause scratches. Ideally, store your jewellery in the Thirteen Popes box or pouch provided at the time of purchase to prevent metal or stone abrasion. Also, it helps to keep your jewellery in a dry environment with low humidity.

When storing a chain necklace or bracelet, always ensure it is fastened to prevent tangling or knots.

We advise removing your jewellery before showering, bathing, or swimming - especially in the sea, on the beach, or in chlorinated water. It is also best to avoid wearing jewellery during exercise, gardening, or any activity that may expose it to repeated impact, scratches, or abrasive surfaces.

For jewellery with stone settings, we recommend periodic checks to ensure the prongs holding the stone are secure and not worn down, as this could cause the stone to become loose. If you think your piece is in need of a checkup, contact us Here
